Pilatus PC-12 NGX

Cabin and cargo-access research, with explicit payload/mission questions.

Model research, not a listing. This page describes a model in the reviewed guide set. No aircraft is offered for sale here and no price, availability or referral coverage is confirmed.

Model configuration

NGX with PT6E-67XP/Honeywell ACE; not earlier NG or the newer Garmin-equipped PRO.

Published specifications

Each value keeps its own unit, conditions and source identifiers. Manufacturer maxima describe separate operating cases; they are not simultaneous capability.

Figures that need confirmation

Where sources describe different operating conditions, the scenarios are shown and we do not select a single comparison figure.

Unqualified maximum range Withheld from comparison

  • 1803 nm Technical table: four passengers/800-lb payload, LRC, ISA, FL300, single pilot, executive configuration, NBAA IFR 100-nm reserve.
  • 1568 nm Technical table: six passengers/1,200-lb payload, same stated range basis.
  • 1765 nm Separate comparison prose calls this maximum range, without a matching mission basis.

The sources describe different operating conditions. We have not selected a single range figure for comparison; confirm the applicable figure with Pilatus and the individual aircraft's records.

Unqualified maximum payload Withheld from comparison

  • 2235 lb Technical-table reference cabin.
  • 2236 lb Cabin headline.

The published figures are not interchangeable. Neither is presented as a universal maximum payload; the full-fuel figure retains its stated configuration.

Ownership support

Support programs are conditional. For a used aircraft, actual enrollment, remaining benefit and transferability are unknown until the written contracts and current records are reviewed.

  • Pilatus's 2019 NGX launch announcement advertised 600-flight-hour scheduled maintenance intervals and 5,000-hour TBO. Calendar limits and current engine/airframe program must be confirmed; this is historical information, not a maintenance instruction.
  • The NGX has a cargo door and manufacturer single-pilot certification statement; training, insurance and operational authority remain buyer-specific.
  • Pilatus announced PC-12 PRO in March 2025 with Garmin G3000 PRIME. PRO equipment must not be assigned to NGX.

Questions before you buy.

  • Which current maintenance calendar, engine status and inspections apply?
  • What support, pilot training and insurance quotes fit the intended operation?
  • Can the seller supply an aircraft-specific payload/range assessment and current manuals?
